From 6 July 2017 the way you access urgent and emergency care in Rotherham is changing.  The Walk-in Centre service, currently at Rotherham Community Health Centre, will no longer be provided. The team will join the Emergency Department at the new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre at Rotherham Hospital.

When should you attend the Urgent and Emergency Care Centre?

If you have an emergency care need such as choking, severe bleeding, chest pains and blacking out. If you have an urgent care need such as broken bones, burns and scalds, wounds and minor illnesses including fever, infections and rashes.

Unsure of where to go?

There are a range of healthcare professionals who are able to advise the best course of treatment including pharmacists, GPs and the NHS 111 service.
