Under the guidelines issued jointly by Rotherham Primary Care Trust and South Yorkshire Police, this medical practice will not tolerate violent, aggressive, rude, abusive or other inappropriate behaviour towards any member of staff from any patient or relative. This applies both in the surgery building and within patient’s homes or nursing homes, where visits are made by either doctors or nurses. Where such conduct is alleged to have taken place, the person(s) concerned will be advised in writing that a future repetition of such behaviour may lead to their removal from our list of registered patients.
